About Rebecca
Eternally Maternal
Thank you for your interest in Eternally Maternal. My name is Rebecca Waxman. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with pregnancy, the miracle of birth, and adorable babies. As the years went on, this interest inevitably led to a passion for maternal and newborn care.
I went on to earn an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree (Health Studies) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (Midwifery) from McMaster University.
After my education and experience in the midwifery field, and having two children of my own, I understand and empathise with the anxiety and fear a lot of women associate with labour, delivery, and caring for a newborn. I have seen first hand how understanding your options and what to expect can make a world of difference to your confidence and overall experience!
